We’re honoured and grateful to have vocalists from our Newcastle choir take part in a really special Remembrance Day event for our much-loved, longtime member, Caoimhe Ni Chomhrai.

As well as being a huge part of our VOTT family in Newcastle, Caoimhe was also an exceptional and much-loved teacher at Castletown Primary, Sunderland. She was hugely respected by all of her colleagues and the wider school community and so they are holding a special memorial day in which to recognise and celebrate the life of our beautiful friend.

A bubbly, infectious soul, it’s sure to be a really uplifting event, exactly as Caoimhe would have wanted, and we’re delighted to be performing a few songs in her memory. Many of which she loved performing, too.

The event will be held for family, friends and colleagues to attend on Monday, June 23rd. After the event has taken place, there will be a planting of a Remembrance tree in honour of Caoimhe at 11.30am that day at Castletown Primary (SR5 3EQ), and which is open to the public.
