Rehearsals are held in the bright, airy upstairs events room on a Tuesday from 7pm – 9.30pm.

Term 1: No Rehearsals on Feb 10th, Feb 17th or April 7th
Term 2: No Rehearsal on May 26th
Term 3: No Rehearsal on Oct 27th

About our choir in Birmingham…

Since forming in the summer of 2014, our choir in Birmingham has gone on to perform with Take That & Lulu on 6 UK tour dates, stars from BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing (on 4 UK tour dates), as part of the opening ceremony of the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games, and at the 2024 England Netball Super League Grand Final.

AND, all at incredible venues such as the Arena Birmingham (with Take That), Resorts World Arena (Birmingham), Royal Spa Centre (Leamington Spa), Reading’s Hexagon Theatre, St. Albans’ Alban Arena, and the International Conference Centre (Birmingham).
During that time, our Birmingham choir has also performed at a host of festivals across the region, such as Harborne Carnival, Colmore Food Festival, JQ Festival, Bournville Village Festival, the Frankfurt Christmas Market, and at countless public events, corporate and charity events, feature shows, weddings, parties and more!

Musical Director – Rodrigo Orquera

Birmingham VOTT MD Rodrigo Orquera

Since graduating with a Degree in Musical Arts, Rodrigo has gone on to establish himself as a composer, songwriter, MD and musician in high demand following his arrival in Birmingham in 2018.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, including a position at the National University of Arts in Buenos Aires, Rodrigo has worked with people of all ages in a large variety of settings. These have included further and higher education, primary and secondary schools and community services.

In addition to his teaching and group work, Rodrigo has an extensive list of top performance credits across Jazz, Popular & Contemporary music as well as classical guitar, having composed many of his own original works.

With a love for working with groups, he is a supportive and passionate leader, dedicated to inspiring others to share his love for music.
