Well it was a hugely busy spell between April and June across our groups, which saw Voice of the Town choirs perform 9 tour dates as part of An Audience with a Touch of Class featuring stars of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, Ian Waite & Natalie Lowe.
Playing at the very best venues in Reading, St Albans, Swindon, Leamington Spa, Dunfermline, Perth, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle, including Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Edinburgh’s Usher Hall, the Reading Hexagon and Newcastle’s Tyne Theatre, it was an outstanding run of shows to be involved in. And we’d like to say a massive thanks to Ian and Natalie for being so brilliant, warm and so much fun!
Furthermore, our Newcastle group had the privilege to perform with Russell Watson at his North East show, while Glasgow VOTT appeared at the Daily Record’s prestigious Our Heroes Awards in Glasgow and even perform a flashmob at a wedding in Solihull, we’re excited to be announcing more details regarding a whole host of shows.
On top of exciting festive events already scheduled for December (with more on the way!), we’ll soon be announcing details of a programme of shows taking place in late October/November featuring all 4 of our groups. AND we look forward to adding further dates to our quickly growing performance schedule.
So to stay up to date with all the news and details regarding our various performances, make sure to keep an eye on our Events page.
