Tom Metcalfe
Tom Metcalfe is a highly skilled performer, teacher, and music theorist with a diverse background in popular music. Primarily a flamenco guitarist, Tom is also an experienced multi-instrumentalist, session musician, and composer.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Music (Performance) from the University of Salford, where he achieved the highest-ever performance mark for his role as a flamenco guitarist.
His PhD project, focusing on advanced music theory and the innovative Minecraft Music School, has been awarded a prestigious scholarship funded by the UK Research and Innovation: Arts and Humanities Research Council. With over 15 years of teaching experience, he is passionate about developing singers and musicians. As the Musical Director for Voice of the Town Manchester, Tom brings his expertise to create a dynamic and engaging choir experience.

Rehearsals are held in the bright, airy and modern hall on a Tuesday from 7pm – 9.30pm.
It has excellent bus links to/from the city centre, and beyond, while there is also lots of free on-street parking around the venue.
